The first issue of the journal was published in 2019 by members of the Institute of Bioarchaeological and Ethnocultural Research (ICBE), specialists with professional experience, recognized both in the country (Romania and Moldova) and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>Access to the contents of the Journal of Archaeology, Anthropology and Interdisciplinary Studies (JAAIS) is free. Users can read, download, copy, distribute and print the full text of articles, without prior permission from the editorial staff or authors.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2020 Revista de Arheologie, Antropologie \u0219i Studii Interdisciplinare (the Journal of Archaeology, Anthropology and Interdisciplinary Studies) is indexed in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ceeol.com\/search\/journal-detail?id=2583\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>CEEOL<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/kanalregister.hkdir.no\/publiseringskanaler\/erihplus\/periodical\/info.action?id=503351\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>ERIHPLUS<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebsco.com\/m\/ee\/Marketing\/titleLists\/e5h-coverage.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>EBSCO<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>international databases.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bioarchaeoheritage.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Institute of Bioarchaeological and Ethnocultural Research (ICBE)<\/a> <\/strong>was founded in 2017, in accordance with Decision no. 347 of December 13, 2017 of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova. The IBER priorities are linked to the directions of development of scientific research and of the state.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bioarchaeoheritage.eu\/echipa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ICBE <\/a><\/strong>was founded by researchers with theoretical and applicative professional experience. The activity of the ICBE members is oriented towards fundamental scientific research, which will have an applicative purpose, by generating solutions for solving the problems of archaeological and ethnographic heritage of the Republic of Moldova, for a better monitoring and management.<\/p>\n<p>The founding members of the Institute of Bioarchaeological and Ethnocultural Research are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Andrei Corobcean \u2013 archaeologist, director<\/li>\n<li>Angela Simalcsik \u2013 anthropologist, deputy director<\/li>\n<li>Dorina Onic\u0103 \u2013 ethnologist, scientific secretary<\/li>\n<li>Ion Ciobanu \u2013 archaeologist, member of the board<\/li>\n<li>Natalia Gr\u0103dinaru \u2013 ethnologist, member of the board<\/li>\n<li>Sergiu Popovici \u2013 archaeologist, member of the board<\/li>\n<li>Robert Daniel Simalcsik \u2013 anthropologist, member of the board<\/li>\n<li>Ion Ursu \u2013 archaeologist, member of the board<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bioarchaeoheritage.eu\/echipa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>ICBE<\/strong> <\/a>comprises archaeologists, anthropologists, historians, ethnologists, folklorists, geologists, palaeontologists, archaeozoologists, traseologists, sociologists, linguists, agronomists; authors of numerous studies published in the country and abroad, members of the scientific councils and colleges of the various institutions and of the specialized journals, with experience in field research, didactic activity, collaboration in institutional and public utility research projects.<\/p>\n<p>The team was chosen to suit the ICBE specificity, having an interdisciplinary character, visible also in the way in which the contribution of each one to the implementation of the work strategies of the institution and the fulfilment of the proposed objectives were thought.
